Movement & Dance
West Coast Swing
West Coast Swing isn't just a dance — it's a conversation. I train twice a week in three-hour sessions, studying the biomechanics of connection, frame, and partner communication with the same rigour I bring to engineering problems. Movement is where thinking becomes feeling.
Tai Chi
A practice in structured stillness. Tai chi taught me that power comes from rootedness, not force — a principle that shows up everywhere from how I write code to how I move on a dance floor.
Making & Fabrication
3D Printing
From robot prototypes to objects I decide I need at 11pm — 3D printing is my favourite intersection of digital and physical. If I can model it, I can make it.
Volunteering & Community
Toastmasters — Secretary (2019)
Served as Secretary for the Monash University Toastmasters chapter — and discovered I genuinely enjoy helping people find their voice, literally.
Engineers Student Association — Designer (2018)
Combined my design background with student community work, creating visual materials and contributing to association events.
Other Interests
Graphic Design
Years of self-taught design work that now underpins how I think about every user-facing system I build. The gap between something that works and something that feels right is always a design problem.
