Quoting a job meant digging out the rate, applying the right surcharges, formatting a document and sending it. Twenty minutes, several times a day, usually with the client waiting on the phone. Now the job details go into a Telegram message and the quote comes back formatted, sent and filed.
How it works
Small logistics operations quote constantly, and every quote is a small pile of friction: find the rate card, remember which surcharges apply to this route, open last week's document and edit it without breaking the formatting. The constraint that shaped this project was the user. He is very good at his job and prints his emails. Anything with a login and a dashboard was going to fail. So the whole thing happens inside a Telegram chat he already has open: answer a short sequence of prompts, get back a client-ready quotation or invoice. Underneath it handles variable rate logic, surcharges, multiple currencies and PDF generation, none of which he has to know about.
